Chi for Two® is a partner practice based on nervous system science. A Chi for Two® practice is helpful when we want to say to our lover, “You are getting on my last nerve.” Chi for Two® movements help us find the serenity to surrender what we cannot change, the courage to change what we can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Quiet your mind, escape every day craziness, and lean into this loving couples experience. Breathe a new breath of life into your dance with each other.

What Is Chi for Two®?
Chi for Two® can look like yoga and tai chi but it is actually a dance/movement-therapy-informed practice based on developmental science. It draws from the couples counseling principles developed by Hazan & Shaver, Gottman & Gottman, Hendrix & LaKelly Hunt, Johnson, Schwartz, Hurst and Perel. We—the creators of Chi for Two®—playfully chose this name because it calls to mind the old American song Tea for Two, with the promising line, “Can’t you see how happy we will be?”
